The dissertation is mainly guided by financial theory, management theory andstatistics. Through comparing analysis and case analysis, the theory of the dissertationlink with reality closely. Comparing with the rapidly increasing development of westbank, the wealth management of our country drops behind clearly. Facing the newsituation of increasing risk of bank's traditional business, decreasing the rate'sdifference of bank's traditional business and foreign bank's approaching, civil bankshould think of the reason of slow development seriously and put forward countermeasures. Using the sight of business reengineering, this dissertation is aimed atfinding a wayto improve wealth management.At first, the dissertation introduces the conception and background of wealthmanagement and business reengineering, and then analyze the value chain of wealthmanagement business of J bank to find four key processes, which are businessdevelopment and tracking process, customer management process, wealth planningprocess, and maintaining customer relationship process. According to the experienceof foreign leading bank, it first reengineers the key process of wealth managementbusiness, and then redesigns the organization structure and wealth managementsystem. At last, the dissertation evaluates this wealth management reengineering usingthe target of improving cost, efficiency, qualityand service.The core and the point of innovation of this dissertation is the analysis of valuechain, business reengineering by comparing with leading bank, and the evaluation ofthis reengineering with improving model.
