The development of economy globalization accelerated the evolution of industry, and the competition between firms has transformed into the competition between supply chains. Many multi-national firms'success has proved that a collaborative and tightly integrated supply chain (SC) is the key to competitiveness. Therefore, how to execute integration within SC and realize collaborative operation among firms of an extended SC are very important in future SCM. This thesis investigated the method of supply chain integration (SCI) and performance evaluation for manufacturing industry in the background of China's current developing situation; proposed solution for focal manufacturing firms to execute effective SCI, so as to enhance collaboration effect and comprehensive competitiveness of the SC.Firstly, this thesis introduced the importance of SCI through documentation research and Chinese manufacturing firms'current management situation, and establisheed a theoretical frame of SCI. Then a four level SCI model was established using multi-objective planning method and was solved with Lingo, thereby the configuration of SC was simulated. In the end, a SCI evaluation system based on product delivery process with the knowledge of project management and balanced scorecard was addressed, which would be a feasible support to help the manufacturing firm proceeding SCM.The achievement of this thesis is meaningful both theoretically and practically. From the theoretical view, this thesis has provided a systematic SCI concept frame for focal manufacturing firm; elaborated the method of SCI from three levels, which would guide Chinese manufacturing firms to execute effective SCM and even make a great success in the international market in the future. From the practical view, this thesis has simulated the SCI practice, which is valuable for decision making during SC operation. Moreover, to trace and get feedback of SCI performance timely, this thesis has used the best practice of foreign manufacturing industry's project management experience for reference, and provided a set of SCI performance evaluation system, which is of great value to the practice of Chinese manufacturing industry.
