A Study On Application Of Cost Control For Engineering Project Based On Earned Value Theory

Construction field is the stanchion industry in our country, it is taking the leading and basic action in national economy and social development. In order to survive,improve and develop in today's competitive market,our construction corporations need to find new ways to cut their costs in the basis on the analysis of existing cost management problems of our country's construction corporations. The construction corporations must practice the target responsibility cost management system, and the costs control method has proposed based on earned value theory and achieved the objective of reducing costs in this thesis.In the first part of the thesis, the study goal and the background have been introduced, the study thoughts and the framework have been demonstrated synoptically. In the second part, the engineering project costs, the construction and installation costs of the engineering project have been discussed. In the third part, the basic concept of the target responsibility cost control has been introduced. In the fourth part, the cost control of the earned value theory have been analyzed. In the last part of the thesis, the real cases have been quoted to support the earned value theory, then the implementing steps of cost control method have been introduced briefly based on earned value theory. The study aims of this thesis is to find a new way to improve the cost management level and lower construction costs of our country's construction corporations.
