In 2004, associated with many mediae, Chinahr Net Organized "Job Burnout Index Survey" in China. They found out 70% of them are experiencing job burnout, including 39.17% of the informants from foreign capital enterprises in China. Research on the job burnout of employees in foreign capital enterprises can provide practical guide for both managers from foreign capital enterprises and Chinese indigenous enterprisesBased on the JD-R model, This research investigated the job demands, job resources and job burnout of employees in foreign capital enterprises in China, and focused on the relationship between situational factors and job burnout by literature reviews and questionnaire Survey. The main results are as follows:1. Employees in foreign capital enterprises are experiencing medium level of job burnout, with common exhaustion and high level of cynicism and inefficacy.2. Female employees is experiencing higher efficacy than the male. Young Employees is experiencing higher exhaustion.3. Employees in foreign capital enterprises have reasonable job demands, except heavy workload.4. Employees in foreign capital enterprises are satisfied with their job resources, especially sufficient supports from colleagues5. Situational factors have correlation with job burnout6. Career development, Work-family confliction, role ambiguity, distribution fairness predict the job burnout level of employees in foreign capital enterprises remarkably. Career development can predict the job burnout the most7. Work-family conflict can predict exhaustion remarkably; career development can predict Cynicism remarkably; role ambiguity can predict inefficacy remarkably.8. There is interaction between job demands and job resources.
