An Analysis On International Competitive Of Liuyang Fireworks Industry

Under the background of globalization, how to achieve economic competitive advantage in global market through intense international competition is the focused point in the circle of economics. In recent years, the export of fire crackers in Liuyang increases dramatically and forms scale economy. This paper mainly conducts research on factors that influence international competitiveness of Liuyang crackers.Within the theory framework of comparative advantage and competitive advantage, this paper adopts RCA index and Trade competitiveness index as major analytical tools. Meanwhile, the "diamond system" model is the fundamental theory framework as well.Drawing lessons from the evaluation index system of industry international competitive in the paper of Zhou Xing, the evaluation index group is constructed in this paper, and by calculating RCA and TC we conclude that Liuyang firework industry has strong international competitiveness. On this basis,this article analyses the source and situation of the strong international competitiveness of Liuyang firework industry in four main factors (factors of production, corporate strategy, corporate structure and competitors, the performance of related industries and supporting industries, and requirements)and two auxiliary factors(government and opportunities). across-the--board. However, on the opinion of the theory of Michael·Porter low-high two level competitive advantage, now Liuyang firework industry is still at a low level of competitive advantage. At the end of this article, some suggestions about how to upgrade the competitive advantage further based on the existing low level of competitive advantage are given on four aspects of government, chamber of commerce, industry and enterprise.
