The Research On The Impact Of Highway Traffic To Tourism Development In Xinjiang

Tourism has become one of the largest and strongest industries in world's economic development.According to the latest research report provided by the World Travel and Tourism Council this year in Shanghai predicted that since 2007-2016, China's tourism industry will get the actual annual growth rate of 8.7 percent, and within a decade China will become the world's second largest tourism Travel and economic power. Although China's tourism industry over the past 20 years has been great developed, but some indicators which reflect the level of tourism development is still far behind the international level. From the tourism revenue in the proportion of GDP, in the middle-income developed countries the proportion of tourism income in the national economy has reached more than 8 percent, while China reached it's highest level in history in 2002 , the proportion of GDP accounted for only 5.44 percent ,which made China the huge space in the growth of the tourism industry.Xinjiang tourism industry started in 1978. In 1978, the region received 88 overseas tourists, foreign exchange 46,000 U.S. dollars. After the 1990s, Xinjiang's tourism industry has entered a rapid development stage. Xinjiang tourism industry made a face of a huge space for development ,at the same time traffic bottlenecks are also increasingly highlighted. Tourism is highly dependent on tourists visiting, the tourist destinations must provide perfect traffic services so that the tourists can often visit the circumstances, then the tourism industry will continue to be expanded and developed. In this sense, the traffic is the lifeblood of the development of tourism. The tourism industry of many nations and regions has sored up after solving the traffic bottleneck.At present, Xinjiang's tourism mode of transportation includs three kinds, highways, railways and aviation. Highways and aviation made great effect on coming in and coming out of Xinjiang. Xinjiang's history, special desertification -oasis of geography, the distribution of tourism resources and other factors made a common choice of the highway traffic as the primary tourism development in Xinjiang protection.Based on the theories of the sustainable development of tourism, tourism from the attenuation of theory and Tourism Highway Landscape Theory ,the paper analyzed the future trend of road traffic,and predicted that road traffic will still play important role in the tourism development in Xinjiang.The paper also analyzed the promoting effects of road traffic and bottleneck excited today,and suggested some corresponding countermeasures on how to protect the tourism development in Xinjiang.
