As the basis of land selection in city planning, city construction land suitability evaluation has always been paid more attention to. And because of the continuously accelerating urbanization, city construction brings increasing problems such as conflicts between person and land, habitat security issues, ecological environment issues, the rationality and scientific for city construction land suitability evaluation drawn more and more concern. But a long period of time much more researches on city constructive land suitability evaluation emphasis on the cities of plain area rather than on mountainous cities. There are many large differences in natural attributes and social attributes between mountain and plain, the evaluation for plain cities can not fit to mountainous cities' demand completely.This paper analysis and summaries theoretic and methods related city construction land suitability evaluation, basis which discusses indicator system, evaluation model , evaluation method under GIS, and takes Langao County of Shaanxi province as example evaluates its land constructive suitability.The results shows: 1) The factors influencing mountainous cities land suitability of construction have complexity and synthesis. 2) The indicator system combining of special factors and basic factors is more fit to mountainous city land features than the single factor structure indicator system. 3 ) The GIS supported comprehensive evaluation method is a effective way , in which, building space database is the key link. 4) Data collection could make a great impact on the evaluation result. 5) The planning area of Langao county is divided into four classes pursuant to suitability, it is suitable land for construction, a little lower suitable land for construction, limited land for construction, unsuitable land for construction. Finally, in the part of concluding point out the inadequacies on dividing classes, and the direction need further research. |
