In recent years,with the rapid development of local economy and the accelerating urbanization process,sustaining high demand for electricity and increasing power load appeared in Chifeng,thus imbalance between supply and demand is outstanding gradually.In order to solve the urban grid problem("Kabo Zi") and accommodate with the economic growth and social development,it is necessary to carry out the rational transformation of power grid and the planning of building this network and draw the forward-looking blueprint for the transformation of the grid scientifically.This paper discusses the basic theory of urban economic development firstly,combining with the economic development process of Chifeng, analyse its urban economy development and the supply and demand situation in the power market and predict its trend and the facters that will influence the the future status of electricity supply and demand.Finally,we work over the transformation of power grid and the grid constructing to establish a safe,reliable,well-structured and adaptable architecture that will satisfy the development of urban and rural economic in the near future as well as the,,social development,so that it could adapt to the sustaining economic growth and satisfy the requirement for high quality energy in Chifeng.
