The existing power grid structures can no longer meet the needs for electricity development and varying degrees of transmission congestion have emerged in many sections of lines. Power grid expansion is imperative for the sustainable development of power grid.Power grid expansion needs financial support.In electricity market,how to charge the transmission and distribution service has become an important issue of power system innovation currently. Under these kinds of background,this paper first studied on the methods of power system planning under market condition,and then researched on the theories,methods and mathematical models of transmission pricing in electricity market.The paper at last made an empirical analysis of Changzhi Power Grid and gave the planning scheme and advice of transmission pricing implementation.
