In the electricity market environment, reasonable reactive power ancillary services play an important role to improve power quality, reduce power losses of network and make power system operate safely and steadily. In the current operation of the electricity market, economic contribution to the system and influence to transmission of active power which are caused by reactive power are mainly concerned, or economic cost of reactive power is paid attention to, reactive power services by way of strong-arm tactics or a cost compensation mechanism are obtained. Practice proved that these methods are lacking in incentives to reactive power capacity investment and are bad for power system operation in a world of long-term security and stability. In this thesis, on the basis of the sequential quadratic programming on optimal power flower, above on, the mathematical models of different objective functions are further deduced under polar coordinates and right-angle coordinates; a new two-step pricing of reactive power method is introduced. This theory is based on transient supply and demand balance of power system, which takes into account the safe operation of power system. At last, reactive power energy price reflecting operating costs is got; Reactive power capacity price of is separated from the existing one-step active power price, which is as a supplement for reactive power capability price, which makes up disadvantages of the lower date for reactive power real-time pricing method. Finally, IEEE14 and IEEE30 bus system node are simulated through the matlab software in different running systems. The results show that the theory is reasonable, feasible and practical...
