ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) is an organic combination of advanced management thought and management techniques.Nowadays,market competition is so fierce that ERP become the tool of improving the core competitiveness of many firms.In fact,lots of firms achieve the goal of integrating resource and sharing information via using ERP.However,most firms pay a heavy price for ERP.Through studying the problems that can appear during the implementation of the ERP system, the author recognizes that lack of continuous improvement is one of the reasons that bring ERP to failure.Actually,ERP implementation is a continuous improvement efforts without end.And continuous improvement will become an important means to constantly optimize the ERP system.The purpose of this thesis is to define the cycle model of continuous improvement and propose the strategies of continuous improvement through studying on the problems,which included data,processes and people.This thesis adopts qualitative analysis as well as other research methods,such as literature searching, interviews and case study and so on and sets up cycle model of continuous improvement and proposes the strategies of continuous improvement.Based on the factual information of Kenflo company,we provide references of continuous improvement for Kenflo that make great efforts to reach the final goal—enhancing the core competiveness.This thesis consists of five chapters:Chapter 1 is an introduction,putting forward the research background,the problems that Chinese companies are facing, stating the research purposes,significance,pointing out the research methods,the basic framework and some innovations.Chapter 2 is theory summary,the latest theories about ERP continuous improvement both at home and abroad are summarized,pointing out the contributions and shortages,thus forming an academic basis and direction for the following chapters.Chapter 3 is strategies for continuous improvement of ERP.This chapter mainly explains the cycle model of continuous improvement of ERP,based on this cycle model,this paper forms the evaluation system in the stage of ERP continuous improvement,and analyzes the three Critical Success Factors,proposes the strategies of continuous improvement.Chapter 4 is a case study,putting forward the company's overviews and information background, and the problems the company are facing.Based on the cycle model of continuous improvement,the paper form the strategies of continuous improvement for the company.Chapter 5 is about the conclusions and prospects of this study as well as its shortages.
