As a basis of manufacture, the Jingjingji Area has increasingly exerted a very significant role on the process of China's industrialization. And the phenomenon of industry cluster is profoundly affecting the development of the world's economy. More and more countries or areas take the industry cluster model as their development strategy in order to speed up the enterprise development and promote the local economy growth and industrialization. Therefore, we studied the economic growth in Jingjingji Area so as to put forward some suggestions on the basis of the theory of industry cluster. To start with, we studied the relationship between the market integration, the regional specialization and the industry cluster, chiefly based on the analysis frame of Krugman's new economic geography theory.Besides, we studied the effect of industry clusters on the economic growth based on the investigation on the literature about industrial clusters theory and economic growth theory. And we concluded the economic growth model about agglomeration and regional economic growth and explained the mechanism of the effect of industrial clusters on the local economic growth. Moreover, this article made an empirical analysis on the level of the industrial clusters in the Jingjingji Area, estimated the cluster elasticity making use of the new model of economic growth, and made a brief analysis on the reasons for the change and difference in the growth rate of the regional economy in Jingjingji Area. Finally, we tried to put forward to some suggestions for the policy on the basis of the industrial clusters theory so as to promote the economic growth in the Jingjingji Area.
