The Statistical Research On The Impact Of Strategic Emerging Industry Clusters On Economy Growth In ZheJiang Province

When the global financial crisis occurred,all countries have focused on the development of strategic emerging industries to seize the commanding heights of future economic and technological development.Since 2009,China has also proposed to major emerging industries based on technological breakthroughs and development needs as the focus of development,to accelerated the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries,hoping to change the extensive economic growth mode and to play a leading role in the overall social-economic and long-term development,so that the national economy onto a green and healthy sustainable development.Zhejiang Province,as a big economic province in eastern China,has also taken the initiative to respond to the call of the national strategy and formulated the development goals of strategic emerging industries in a timely manner.Now,Zhejiang provincial government "13th Five-Year Plan" focus on planning to develop the strategic new industries.It is clear that it is necessary to accelerate the development of strategic emerging industries,to speed up the construction of science and technology parks and high-tech clusters,build high-level strategic emerging industry cluster area,and play the leading,radiating and leading role of transformion and development of the province.The "13th Five-Year " period is the final five years for Zhejiang Province achieve the initial completion of innovative provinces and completion of a comprehensive well-off society.It becomes more urgent to developing innovation-driven and leading to support the economic and social transformation.So,this dissertation combines the theoretical and empirical analysis to research the relationship between the strategic emerging industry clusters and economic growth in Zhejiang Province.It is of great significance to promote the further development of strategic emerging industry clusters and the transformation of economic society for Zhejiang province.Based on relevant literature,this dissertation summarizes the theory of the strategic emerging industry clusters.combined with the strategic emerging industry development status and industrial clusters SWOT analysis,this dissertation constructs a comprehensive index of strategic emerging industry agglomeration and analyzes Zhejiang Province Strategic emerging industry agglomeration status accurately and comprehensively.Then take this index to construct a spatial model to Study on the Relationship between Strategic Emerging Industry cluster and Economic Growth in Zhejiang Province.On this basis,this dissertation set the panel metering model in order to further research the path that how to promote economic growth.The conclusions of this dissertation are as follows:Firstly,the levels of the Strategic Emerging Industry cluster of 11 citis in Zhejiang Province are increasing year by year,but each places are different.According to the result of the comprehensive measurement of strategic emerging industry cluster level in Zhejiang Province,in the time dimension,it can be found that the levels of the development of the Strategic Emerging Industry cluster in 11 citys are increasing by year.From the spatial dimension,the concentration level of Hangzhou,Ningbo and Wenzhou is relatively high,but as high concentration level,these three places should still strength their radiation ability.Shaoxing,Jinhua,Jiaxing,Taizhou,Huzhou and Zhoushan are the second ones.But they can use the advantages of geographical location,having a high potential to become places of high cluster level.The cluster level of Quzhou and Lishui is the lowest.Secondly,the spatial econometric model indicates that the strategic emerging industry agglomeration has spatial correlation.The Moran's I index shows that there are differences in the development of strategic emerging industry agglomeration in the cities of Zhejiang Province,which further confirms the credibility of the comprehensive measurement of strategic emerging industry agglomeration level in Zhejiang Province.At the same time,according to the empirical results of the general spatial econometric model,we can see that the strategic emerging industry clusters of Zhejiang Province has a significant effect on the economic growth,and the local economy will increase by 0.082 units for each additional unit of strategic emerging industry agglomeration level.Thirdly,the theoretical analysis shows that strategic emerging industrial cluster mainly through technological progress and industrial upgrading to promote economic growth.Furthermore,panel data model shows that the strategic emerging industry cluster can promote local economy more significantly.Therefore,to improve the level of technological development and independent innovation capability is still the current main path.In this dissertation,based on the analysis of the status of strategic emerging industry cluster in Zhejiang Province and the empirical results,the dissertation puts forward some policy suggestions.First,raise the level of development of strategic emerging industries and have rational spatial distribution.Second,actively fostering the innovation atmosphere of strategic emerging industry agglomeration area,enhance innovation at the source and break through the core key technologies.Third,accelerate the development of leading industries,improve the quality of industrial development;Fourth,construct the financing platform completely,use financial funds and social funds comprehensively.
