With the strengthening of economic globalization and international competition, the cost of supply chain management has becoming the key parts between the enterprises. Especially for the professional purchasing companies, the way of controlling vendors during the purchasing plays a vital role in the overall supply chain management and conducting of purchasing company itself, even the profit increasing space of customers. So purchasing companies must strengthen purchasing management, especially improve supplier management. The thesis analyzes the supplier management practice of I purchasing company, discuss supplier management from short-term aspect and long-term aspect , and study the assessment & selection of suppliers, day-to-day management of suppliers and risk management, then put forward the effective measures of supplier integration. The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter analyzes the development of the purchasing company and main business characteristics, point out the developing trend and spacious foreground of purchasing company.The second chapter discusses the supplier management I purchasing company faced, and supplier management will help decreasing costs, optimize resources supply, raise competition ability itself and satisfaction of customers.From the short-term supplier integration angle, the third chapter introduces supplier selecting and assessing strategy of I purchasing company, the establishment of selecting procedure, measure of setting assessment index. According to the supply classification principle, the supplier will be divided into four types, they are strategic type, key type, politic type, lever type, and put forward relevant management strategy. Also the ending discusses day-to-day management of short-term suppliers, to insure the normal circulation of supply.The fourth Chapter made a depth research from long-term supplier integration, to build different supplier cooperation strategy with different suppliers, form Strategic colleague relation with the core of I purchasing company, to let the long-term target of suppliers keep pace with that of I company. At the same time, it is suggested that day-to-day management of long-term suppliers should be programmed again, lay particular emphasis on the stable long-last cooperation, to create win-win situation.The final chapter analyzes the supplier risk of I purchasing company, and gives the corresponding measures to avoid risks. I hope that this article will help to give other purchasing companies some reference.
