With the increasing complexity of global economic growth and market environment and the continuous deepening of supply-side reforms,the strategic functions of procurement have become increasingly prominent,and the research and application of relevant theories on strategic procurement have continued to improve at home and abroad,regardless of strategic procurement.The improvement of corporate performance,or the components of strategic procurement,and the implementation of strategic procurement in the enterprise are all hot topics in the field of strategic procurement abroad.Due to market uncertainty and fierce competition,companies are pursuing continuous competitive advantages while pursuing profits and market share.Control of risks has also attracted widespread attention.Suppliers are an important source of core competitiveness of manufacturing companies.The control and response of suppliers' management and supply risks are also the core of the increasing concern of large and medium-sized manufacturing companies.However,there is still room for research on the control of supply risks through strategic procurement.The implementation of strategic procurement and supply risks are reduced.The relationship is also an important issue for the majority of scholars to think about,and it is also an important issue faced by manufacturing companies in the development process.The existing research on strategy is mainly focused on how to improve corporate performance,including operational performance and financial performance.The study of supply risk is also an important direction for supply chain research.Focusing on the two core propositions of whether "implementation of strategic procurement can promote the reduction of supply risk?" and "How does strategic procurement implement the reduction of supply risk?",it explores,analyzes,and validates the mechanism of strategic procurement's role in reducing supply risks.Then find effective measures to control risks.First,based on the relevant literature and the actual situation of the company,from the perspective of suppliers,buyers and suppliers,and between suppliers and suppliers,it is proposed that the supplier's capabilities,the quality of the buyer-supplier relationship,and the supply base's complexity should be considered as an intermediary.The variables construct a conceptual model of the relationship between strategic procurement and supply risk reduction;then,based on the conceptual model,a series of research hypotheses are proposed;immediately afterwards,obtain research data through questionnaires and corporate surveys,using SPSS20.0 The mediating effect was tested by multiple regression analysis,and the assumptions were verified one by one by the structural equation model AMOS 17.0.Finally,the conclusions of the study are obtained through analysis.The results of the study show that the supplier capabilities,the quality of the buyer-supplier relationship,and the complexity of the supply base play a partial intermediary role in the mechanism of strategic procurement and supply risk.Among them,the intermediary effect of buyer-supplier relationship quality is the most significant.Manufacturers can implement strategic purchases.When selecting and managing suppliers,they can establish long-term strategic relationships with suppliers to promote suppliers'information sharing and joint risk management as supply risk control.Important measures;also,selecting suitable suppliers,conducting regular supplier development and supplier assessments to enhance supplier capabilities can also reduce supply uncertainty;in addition,build a reasonable supply base structure to control supply.The relationship between suppliers and suppliers to reduce uncertainty in the supply market is also beneficial for reducing risks.
