The competition between corporations is becoming harder than before. Although it is the product which is compared, the actual competitive point is the ability of technology innovation which is the crucial core competition ability of a company. Only through technology innovation and output new product that fit the market demand can defeat the rivals. The management of technology innovation is fundamental for the technology innovation practice and the transfer of the innovation result to product. The strategy of technology innovation shows the mission and plan.Company M is in the manufacturing field of HDD core components where needs high technology and often updates product level, so it strongly request Company M to empower its technology innovation management. This article states the background and technology innovation of Company M, and the cooperation with institutes on technology innovation and the characters of these practices. Using the Five Forces model, this article analyzes and comments the internal conditions and outside environment of technology innovation of Company M. In the end, on the basic of analysis of competition environment, the article introduces the strategies of technology innovation and analyzes the practice and tactics of them.The article uses the theories and knowledge of strategy, and makes the analysis, comments and discussion on the technology innovation management and strategy of Company M. It also analyzes the practice of technology innovation and environment of Company M and gives the suggestions finally.
