ABSTRACT: China's communication industry has been operating more than 26% growth for 5 years. Along with the rapid development of mobile communication, the growing popularity of cell phones and the applications of GPRS and CDMA2000 1X as the main streams of mobile communication technology push forward the development of the traditional circuit region voice services, as well as the mobile value-added services suitable for the demand of market. At present the ratio of value-added services income of the telecom operators has reached to over 25%. With the issuance of 3G licenses, the future competitions among the telecom operators must be carried out to compete for users around the mobile value-added services as the core. Analyzing the current situation and problems in the development of the value-added services, this paper tries to put forward the marketing strategy and point out the direction of the value-added services in Hebei Unicom. The main content is below:1. To demonstrate the importance and significances of the value-added services in 3G;2. To analyze the current developing situation of the value-added services in Hebei Unicom which is the object of the research;3. To put forward the marketing strategy and point out the developing direction of the value-added services in Hebei Unicom.It is practically significant to analyze the current developing situation and problems of the value-added services in Hebei Unicom and put forward the marketing strategy, which can supply some management ideas for Hebei Unicom and other telecom operators.
