Food quality safety is an expanding concept with contents and boundaries, covering all the major problems faced by agriculture and food industries. Following the principle of proceeding in an orderly way, and on the basis of past research results, combining related theories about sustainable development and the practices of food supply chain, this paper explores the changing food safety issue related to food from micro to macro angles.The paper mainly centers on the security problem in poultry food industry, by discussing and researching the path and vein of sustainable development of food safety domestic and abroad, it makes a revelation of the rule and present situation of the sustainable development of poultry food industry. The paper makes an summary of the leading pattern and chief feature of the poultry food industry chain in Zhucheng, carries on a thorough analysis of the question and difficulty faced by the sustainable development in the poultry food industry in Zhucheng, and makes an induction and promotion of the development of poultry food industry chain with Zhucheng Foreign Trade Group as the case study. Based on this, the paper proposes feasible ways and measures for the construction of poultry food industry security chain in Zhucheng, and then extends the angle of view to the construction of whole quality safety system for food and agricultural products, and puts foreward valuable and constructive suggestions for the government to assist the sustainable development of the poultry industry, providing good reference for the quick and smooth development of the poultry industry in China.This paper elaborates the development of food safety in the poultry industry in recent years, summarizes four major modes including leading enterprise vertical integration, leading enterprise dominance, intermediary dominance, and cooperative dominance, inducts the features of depending on the propulsion by key enterprises, enterprises exploiting inland market, stressing both live food and processed food, government strengthening supervision, pointing out the existing problems. Investigating the development of broiler industry chain of the Zhucheng Foreign Trade Group, this paper analyzes its current development situation, including three aspects such as cultivation standardization, processing standardization, and total quality inspection. Construction of poultry food safety standardization should be based on the development of modern poultry industry, focus on seven process including poultry cultivation, poultry processing, poultry operation, input management, social environment, traceable system, safety inspection, establishing gradually a total quality control system from cultivation to dining table, uplifting the total quality of poultry products, and constructing a sound safety net for poultry industry. On the above basis, this paper reflects on how to promote the development of poultry food safety in Zhucheng, and puts forwards several suggestions on promoting the long-term mechanism establishment of food safety responsibility investigation, including continuously improving laws, regulations and standards for poultry food safety, enhancing research on the safety control system for poultry food, implementing official veterinary certificate system, and accelerating the construction of marker-oriented husbandry industry.
