Insurance industries is one of the most fast developed industries in recent years.And the junior sales managers are the most active"cell"in organizations;they are necessary parts of the core competence in organizations.The selection of qualified sales managers is a popular issue for organizations.In this paper, through the use of literature search and analysis,conduct incident interviews,job analysis and expert group method,I made the assumptions junior sales manager competency model of insurance industry.I collect data by questionnaire and using SPSS and SAS statistical software for the insurance industry sales manager competency model reliability test,T test,principal component analysis,correlation analysis and other quantitative analysis methods to verify the effectiveness of this competency model.The results show that the competency model include: communicate with the communication skills,interpersonal and set up partnerships,team development,decision-making capacity,authorized capacity,innovation capacity,organization and coordination capabilities,customer enthusiasm,continuous learning ability and standardize practices.At last,I test the model with five factors,that is gender,age management,education,job level,insurance kinds,The result of the research provides some helps suggestions for the HR management of the insurance industry,such as recruitment and selection,training and development,performance management and career development planning.
