The concept of competency had attracted greatly attention from enterprise and academe after it was mentioned, and now it is becoming the focus of global human resources management. The vast recognition and deep research on the competency model provides a new method for human resources in the modern economic era.With a goal of enhancing the efficiency of human resource management, this thesis focuses on the research of the sales managers in A company. Interviews and questionnaires have been used to explore the required competencies for the district sales managers under the current situation of A company. Then both quantitative and qualitative methods have been applied to analyze the related materials. The following are our research outcomes: the district sales manager competencies include integrity, performance oriented, information analysis, staff management, team sprit and implementation.Aims to solving the existing problems in the recruitment selection and training development system of A company, we established both the recruitment selection applying plan and training development applying plan based on the competencies model, through which we present operational and practical values of competency model in the enterprise human resource management. We also give a thoroughly thought on the items which need to be carefully considered in the course of applying the competency model to further researching.
