Company L,a cultural and technological company,aims at meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the public via modern technologies,which demonstrate the required cultural elements.During the process of more than 20 years of its development,following the pace of the time,Company L participated in and served many major projects of many countries and places under the premise of rapid economic growth of China.In recent years,with the booming development of China's economy,the level of aesthetic values and pursuit of spiritual culture of the public was also increasing,which provided new development opportunities for Company L.Thus,with the flourishing business,sales managers who are qualified to develop business are also urgently needed.Nevertheless,during the actual recruitment process,it turned out that it was difficult to find qualified employees.On the other hand,the sales managers,who are recruited on the current requirements of this position,are incompetent to fulfill the needs of actual work.Based on the actual situation of Company L,this study will firstly analyze the competency elements of sales managers of Company L,adapting the methods of literature analysis and interviews with senior managers,etc.Besides,taking the current sales manager of Company L as research subjects,this study will use the method of behavioral event interview and questionnaire to analyze and propose the draft table of competency element and verify this competency model,using the method of behavioral event interview and Delphi Method at the end part.Finally,based on this competency model,this paper will make suggestions on the application of the recruitment process of the sales manager of Company L,solving the emergent problems of it.
