Nowadays,more and more Colleges and Universities use the performance management, however, there are few schools which consider carefully what aspects should be assessed, how to assess and who should be responsible for the perfomance, This thesis introduces the related theory on the performance management firstly,analyses the status of performance management in domestic and foreign colleges and universities, on the basis of hearing the opinions of leaders,experts and colleagues,referring to some literatures, this thesis designs the key indicators and their standards,then bringing AHP to distribute the weight,adopt the FCE to appraise the performance, ultimately, a set of performance management system appears. Finally, this set of performance management theory is applied to practice. In accordance with the practice results,an assessment of this theory is done. There will be some practical value to relevant colleges and universities.
