In order to find out the situation and influential factors of counselors'performance appraisal satisfaction in colleges and universities in Xian, this paper consults 320 counselors by questionnaire of Counsellors'performance appraisal satisfaction,wishing to provide reference for increasing satisfaction.This paper is divided into five parts. the first part is Introduction, explainning the meaning of the study as well as main content and the purpose of topic and so on.Based on the literature, The second part reviews relevant theory and research from the three point of views. The third part describes the process of choose indicators, make up questionnaire,and sent out questionnaires.The fourth part is the statistical process of collectedy datas and relatedy research and analysis,examines the present conditions of counsellors' performance appraisal satisfaction and its differences and development features in terms of sociological variable. The fifth part is conclusions and prospect, further explains the research conclusion in detail, and then gives some advise to the follow-up research to make recommendations according to the shortage of this paper.The results from the research show that satisfactory degree of performance appraisal has the following characteristics in Xian.(1)Counsellors' satisfactory degree of performance appraisal conclude six influential factors such as satisfaction with results of the performance appraisal,the system,emphasis,satisfaction who in charge of counsellors,indicators,as well as the employee participation.(2)Counsellors'satisfactory degree of performance appraisal as a whole is on a middle level,but has obvious polarization,higher aspect is the factor four and the lower is the factor six.(3)Factor one,factor five and factor three has a better predictive on the overall satisfaction.(4)A distinct difference exists between age,education background,position and marital,but difference are slight between gender and length of service.Studies show that in order to enhance counsellors' satisfactory degree of Performance Appraisal,we should improve college counselor performance appraisal system,only in that way can college improve the competitiveness and maintain a good momentum of development.
