Researcn On The Development Modes Of County Economy In Shanxi Province

Traditional county economy development reflected in regional economics and economicgeography. Special research on county economic begins from the mid-1990s, and it trulybecame the focus attention in recent years.County is a specific form of region, and county economy based on administrativedivisions - the county as a unit of the regional economy. Now, there are more than 2000county economy in China, and the land area for more than 910 million Square kilometersaccounting for 90% of the national land area, and more than 80% population, and more than50% social value. It shows the extremely important position of the county economy in China,and it's the basement and supporting power of national economy. In recent years, countyeconomy development gap is very obvious in Shanxi Province, and spreads gradually. Itresults from the rural economy development gap to a large extent. Shanxi Province hasn'tfully achieves industrialization and urbanization, and should pay attention to strengthenresearch of county economy.The paper has drawed lessons from the theory of regional economic development ofnational and abroad, and analyzed the current situation and the serious problems of the countyeconomy in Shanxi Province based on the objective environment. Then this paper has adoptthe analysis methods of combination of theoretical and empirical, quantitative analysis andqualitative analysis, built the county economy overall competitiveness evaluation indexsystem, analyzed and evaluated the development level of 96 county in Shanxi Province withthe method of factor analysis. Findly, the paper has put forward the development mode of thecounty economy in Shanxi Province, and built a development path to impel the rapidlydevelopment of county economy in Shanxi Province.
