| County has a history of over2000years in China, which is the basic unit of the state administrative power. County economy is an important part of national economy and the foundation of area division of labor, their development is related to not only stability of the state but also sustainable development of a regional. Therefore, the empirical studies of county economic development has been gradually became the focus of research field of regional economics, economic geography and other related disciplines. This paper regards theory of regional economics, economics geography and other disciplines as guidance, takes the96counties of Shanxi province which is a coal natural resources inland province in China as the object. Through the empirical study which is spatial-temporal pattern of county economy development, it not only can rich the method of regional economics’research field, but also has the practical value on the development of Shanxi’s regional economy coordinated and orderly. It has the important practical value on the implementation spans development which is confronted with Shanxi province transformation development.This paper combs the research of progress of the county economy at home and abroad, uses regional economic development theory as the theoretical basis of the research, and interprets the background and whole characteristics of county economy development. Basing on the collection of basic economy data, measure the difference of county economy development via the method of modern geography. Exploring the evolution rule of spatial-temporal pattern of four different time periods county economy through the spatial analysis method. It can help understand spatial distribution characteristics, law and dynamic evolution process of county economy of Shanxi province, further more, explore the motivation which influence the evolution of spatial pattern. And presenting the feasible countermeasures is to promote spatial distribution of regional economy development.This study comes up with some conclusions:(1) Through measuring the basis of economic data, found that no matter develop a standard from economic difference gross or average per capita are expanding, but the pace of its expansion will be to some extant alleviated. The industrial structure optimization of southern county Shanxi Province, has obtained the certain effect. And this county of industrial structure is relatively high status. Yet location quotient of north-central county in Shanxi is low in the area. The secondary and tertiary industries location quotient difference of north-south county in Shanxi showed increasing trend. (2) Through comparing Xiaoyi which is only national hundred strong counties to have entered11th the top counties national hundred county with the top counties national hundred county of five central provinces escape Shanxi, found that no matter develop a standard from economic gross or average per capita all has a certain gap. But the gap is narrowing gradually. Judging from the economic growth rate, Xiaoyi is in the first place. It shows that the potential development space of county economy is large.(3) The whole spatial pattern of county economy of Shanxi has changed in the time scale, and it shows clusters phenomenon obviously. Space presents on the concentration distribution in the county economic development of high level and low level. The neighboring counties are interdependent, agglomeration is increasing. The spatial distribution of H-H and L-L area is aggregating, H-L and L-H area is scattered distribution. L-L area is sheet distribution in the eastern county of Datong district, most county of Xinzhou and north county of Lvliang. Surrounding county of Zhongyang-Anze-Zezhou taxes occupy the main of H-H area.(4) As time passed, the numbers of hotspot areas are increasing, and coldspot areas are reducing since1994. The hotspots of county economy development have moved to south. Most county economic development is lower than the average level of the county. The north and south differentiation of Shanxi county economy in space became clear."Liulin-Huozhou-Zezhou" economic growth axis has formed. Since hotspot have constantly increased, connected and moved, the factor which prompts county economy of Shanxi development is by no means unitary. And these factors are changing constantly, lack of stability.The main innovation points are:(1)Based on the science theory of regional economics, economic geography multidisciplinary, and through the ArcGIS and Geoda software well will keep coherence of graphic data and attribute data. The advanced technology to research, makes the county economy difference in spatial pattern of the feature of visualization.(2)At the beginning of the national "Twelfth Five-Year" plan, this paper use96counties of Shanxi Province which are facing the transformation as the research object. Then the thesis proposes practical and feasible countermeasures according to the reality of the county development, make the county economy space pattern optimized. This research conclusions have the practical significance to promote the development of county economy in Shanxi Province. |
