The Analysis Of Source Of Cross Strait Export Growth

Cross-strait trade is a country's internal trade, but it is also a kind of international trade between a sovereign country and a separate customs territory, which falls into the field of research in international trade. Chinese Mainland and Chinese Taiwan, which have the same character and origin, located in both sides of Taiwan Strait, have had communication in trade and culture long. Since 20 century 1990 years, trade relationship between cross-strait has been going through ups and downs, and broken down by a series of major events, but trade relationship between cross-strait still has a rapid development because of the highly complementary in both sides of economies. Up to now, it has come to a new top point. The Chinese Taiwan's ratio of dependence on its export to Chinese Mainland had risen from 4.88% in 1990 to 30.1% in 2007. During this period, the average speech of cross-strait trade by the annual rate of increase is more than 30%. The mainland has become Taiwan's biggest export market and source of trade surplus and the largest investment destination. Against this background, the mainland and Taiwan should conform to the historical development trends, and take some actions in economic and trade to promote the stable development in the cross-strait trade, so as to obtain the corresponding benefits. At present, Chinese Mainland and Chinese Taiwan are actively promoting the implementation of trade policy. As is known to all, there are some problems and deficiencies during the steady development of cross-strait trade in addition to the factors in economic laws and trade policies, which required us to pay high attention and serious study for solutions in-depth.The thesis mainly concerns about trade of both sides from the angle of export . Firstly, sum up the previous theories at home and abroad in the research of the background and present status of cross-strait trade, and find out inadequate for further research; on the basis of dealing with substantial data at export trade between cross-strait, analyzes the general and structural character of cross-strait trade; after that ,with CMS model, make analysis on changing law of export trade to each other between cross-strait; makes analysis from various angles on the factors that affect cross-strait trade and puts forward solutions in order to form a stable and well-ordered cross-strait trade ideas.
