The Effect Of Sino-Japan Economic Relation On Cross-Strait Economic Relation

The development of Cross-strait economic relation improves the well-beings of compatriots.What's more,it takes the historical responsibility to promote the communication and corporation of two straits.It is also helpful for the peaceful unification of motherland.The development of Cross-strait economic relation depends on the factors of two straits,the international economic and political relations as well. The research of the development of Cross-strait economic relation in the context of international relations can promote the development of Cross-strait relation in a win-win situation and have practical significance for the policy "promoting political relation by economic communication" and the peaceful unification of motherland.Japan has close contact with Mainland China and Taiwan in many aspects including geography,humanity and history.In this research the interaction between Sino-Japan economic relation and Cross-strait economic relation is studied in the aspects of theory,dynamic changes and quantitative analysis.They complement with each other:Theoretical analysis studies on the influencing mechanism of Sino-Japan economic relation on Cross-strait economic relation;Dynamic analysis studies on the change of influencing power between Sino-Japan economic relation and Cross-strait economic relation through the construction of Influencing Power Index;Quantitative analysis regresses the historical data by least square method to remedy the limitation of dynamic analysis which can not calculate the accurate estimation of the influencing power and direction between Sino-Japan economic relation and Cross-strait economic relation.On the basis of the above study,it's found that the effect of Sino-Japan trade relation on Cross-strait economic relation is stronger than the effect of Sino-Japan investment relation.It's also found that except for the effect of Sino-Japan trade relation on Cross-strait trade relation,the other three kinds of effect are getting weaker during recent years and it means that the effect of Sino-Japan economic relation on Cross-strait economic relation is getting weaker.On the basis of study,five inspirations are summarized.According to those inspirations,some policy recommendations are proposed in the end of the paper.
