With the continuous development of worldly wide technology, the enterprise has been confronting from globalization economy, free trade and computerization information, in addition consumer's stomach vary quite often, lifecycle of new product has been shorten due to speeding technology innovation, plus rigorous market competing, all of these bring up more and more challenge and strike upon body of enterprises. Since that the development and management of human resources has been occupying critical momentum on agenda of enterprises, of which performance appraisal is one of the most practical technology. This article is aiming at studying the theory and methodology of performance appraisal to set up a set of integrated system of performance appraisal, thus to inspire the career enthusiasm and the potential of the employee so as to sharpen the marketing edges of enterprises.Firstly, the article give out the relevant theory of performance appraisal and illustrate the development of those theory in domestic and international field, then to analyze the existing problems of D company. Based on that, the performance appraisal system of D company has been redesigned by applying scientific & reasonable technology and methodology into the system, ultimately to encourage the employee improving work efficiency.The goal management method is the new way adopted in the performance appraisal system of D company, which break down the overall goal from general company to various department and individual staff layer upon layer, take the level credit card and critical performance factor as well as quantity tables as tools used widely in domestic and international way, in addition combine work analysis to set up qualify performance appraisal system in line with the strategy goal of D company. According to performance of enterprise, department and employee, the integrated performance management system of D company has been divided into three levels of company and department as well as employee. By appraisal of each level, strategy goal and annual goal of the company will be efficiently broke down into each department and each post, thus to optimize human resources and system of organization of the company, finally to improve the general performance level of the company continuously.
