| Economic globalization and regional integration is the world's two themes.The new technological revolution and economic globalization,the ever-changing global socio-economic basis for running the world economy are moving towards regionalization,integration direction.At the same time,the spatial organization of economic activity tend to shape the overall urban and regional integration.In this process, the urban construction and development group has become the country's major trends of urbanization.September 2007,the Ministry of Construction started the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone town planning,which is the fifth of China's cities and towns to start planning group.Our government value Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone are inseparable to the special status and current results achieved in economic development of Sichuan,Chongqing in the western development strategy of.Cheng-Yu areas choosed as the pilot in Comprehensive reform of urban and rural areas pilot is that this area has the overall significance of the regional model and the advantages of the basic conditions in reform.So,how to make the area in a reasonable town size level,develop in coordinated and sustainable speed,needing the in-depth study of building the region's multi-level central city.In this paper,start from the point of view on Urban Agglomeration scale structure in Chengdu-Chongqing,analysis of the size of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration level,urban spatial distribution and status development,first put forward the fractal dimension model and the empirical distribution to the main towns and cities in size.At the same time,analysis the inevitability in constructing the Central cities in Cheng-Yu areas,and through the combination of qualitative and quantitative indicators to determine the three groups of urban central city,the last group is an overview of building central cities, and raise the policy and construction ideas on central cities in Cheng-Yu town cluster.In this paper, covering the following five components:(1) Theoretical explanations.Explained the background,methods,the significance of the research, and reviewed the related research at home and abroad for the central cities as well as the theory involved in the development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.(2) Objects of study boundaries,the present situation and the basis to divide are fixed.In this paper, by calculating the economic distance between cities,establishing the vector index system through the gravity models and field models,combined with the actual development of Chengdu-Chongqing to Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone to determine the scope of the urban group,and finally analysis of the development situation recently in Cheng-Yu town cluster.(3) Structural analysis of the cities's size in Chengdu-Chongqing urban group.This part provide a scientific basis for the urban planning and layout structure by analysising of the fractal dimension model, the distribution characteristic of the principal city and space function in urban areas,all this improve that multi-level building of the central cities in Chengdu-Chongqing towns group is the necessary means to improve its hierarchical structure and it will benefit to the economic development.(4) Central cities are fixed in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.Analysis of the main development environment,the main axis of urban development,the city's comprehensive economic level,and based on certain qualitative indicators to determine the group of three regional cities and towns.(5) The construction ideas and strategies for urban Central cities.This part proposed the development direction,the ideas of the central cities,and finally made some specific recommendations of in Cheng-Yu town cluster. |
