Research On Land Use Change In Jiangjin District Of Chongqing Base On GIS

LUCC is the most important point in global environment change nowadays.IGBP and HDP put forward LUCC research planning together,make a new fieldof global environment change come true.Over the past ten years,global LUCC research has made big progress.The theory of LUCC and its method become perfect.and many organizations join in the study enable LUCC to be in the ascendant.Now,the focus of LUCC turns from global research to the district research.In recent years,with the rapid development of 3S technology especially the data of remote sensing can be gotten accurately and perfect data measurement,it offers fast and convenient research method.The Jiangjin district was taken as an example in the presentation to study landuse temporal-spatial change and the reasons resulting in this change.based on the foundation of analysis of the domestic and intemational landuse/landcover change(LUCC)study,Remote Sensing(RS) and GIS were used as support technique to obtain the background data of landuse in this text. Society statistic information also was collected for study the space-time dynamic change pattern and the social and natural driving forces of LUCC.This paper is composed of three parts:In t he first part,landuse changes nearly 10 years were gained by overlay the landuse date of Jiangji in 1996 and 2006 using GIS software(Acrmap).The results showed that:(1) In recent 10 years,the quantity of cultivate land,grass land and virgin land has been gradually decreased.But the quantity of woodland and Construction land rising sharply,and the change rate of Construction land were 2.57%,it is the largest.The quantity of cultivated land was decreased and the increasing Construction land was small.(2)There was district difference on land use structures and space differences.The changes is stronger in the northern shallow hill area than central hill area.the change is smallest in the southern mountain forest area. The second Part,the 14 socio-economic data was selected from 1996 to 2006 Year book of Jiangjin District.mainly include:industrialization and urbanization, population growth,political and economic policy,the main acts of social and land use, land management,such as a driving force.By the principal component analysis in driving force of analysis arable land changes of Jiangjin area,the conclusion is:the Social driving forces of arable land changes in Jiangjin are economic development, urbanization and industrialization,population growth and political and economic policy.The third part is discussing the sustainable way of land use in Jiangjin.Based on the above analysis of the theory and practice,with the dynamic changes trends of land use maded rationalization proposals on Land use planning,scientific use,integrated management,ecological environment construction and farmland protection,according the status and issues of land-use,also the land use change process and the analysis of driving forces.
