Entrepreneurial orientation(EO) refers to the courage to open up innovation, improve the risk-bearing capacity, and seize the opportunities for expansion and profitability ahead of other competitors.EO has a positive impact on business performance, which may be limited by some essence. The sudden global financial crisis has greatly increased the risk of corporate entrepreneurial activity, then how can we ensure that EO has the positive effects on organizational performance? This paper,on view of internal organizational factors, explains that increasing the adaptability of organizational culture is necessary. The adaptability of organizational culture is an important aspect of Organizational culture, which means making a rapid response to the changes of the external environment(including policy, industry, customers, markets).Based on previous studies, this paper shows the conclusion by a questionnaire survey of Chinese enterprises and empirical analysis:The adaptability of organizational culture is an important factor influencing the positive effect of EO.The impact of EO on organizational performance will be different with different levels of organizational culture adaptation. At the same time, the paper also confirmed that a subset of the business-oriented dimensions (innovativeness,risk-taking and pro-activeness) has its own independent role on organizational performance. In the light of this, this study examines the effect of adaptability to different sub-dimensions and found that organizational culture has different effects on different sub-dimensions of EO.
