Subject well-being is a prevalent topic of psychological research currently,and with the improvement of life quality,we attach more importance to the pursuit of happy life.Now the reform of State-owned enterprises is faced great challenge,and also the managers are enduring huge pressure,so the managers life quality and health are attached increasing importance too.The purpose of the research is to edit the General Well-being Schedule(GWB) to get the questionnaire for the managers,and discuss the relation of personality,managerial self-efficacy and subject well-being, and study the subject well-being of the advanced managers of State-owned enterprises.The research consists of preceding research and the formal research.In the preceding research,the random sample of 200 advanced managers of State-owned enterprises from Guangdong province were chosen as the subjects,by the way of literature analyzing and investing,and with the use of some statistic methods such as Factor Analysis and Credits and Validity Analysis to edit the General Well-being Schedule.And on the basis of this,the random sample of 400 advanced managers of State-owned enterprises from Guangzhou and Shenzhen were chosen as the subjects, Essence Personality Questionnaire(EPQ),General Well-being Schedule(GWB) and Managerial Self-efficacy Questionnaire(MSEQ) were applied to these subjects.The results are processed with the software of SPSS 15.0 and LISREL 8.3,and some statistic methods such as the regression analysis,correlation analysis,AVNOVA and path analysis were used.The results of the study indicated some main conclusions as follows:Firstly,the SWB of the majority is above a middle level.Different individual factors have different effect to the SWB.There is no significant difference between the male managers and the female managers on the overall of SWB,so does the different types.The managers of 41~50 group have high SWB than other groups. The managers graduated from colleges for professional training own more relaxation than those above degrees and this group has higher SWB.And married managers got more points than those who have not married in SWB.Managers with middle salary show higher level on the overall feeling of the well-being.And with the increasing of the salary and the better health,the SWB of the managers also increase.Secondly,psychotics and neuroticism of personality have a negative correlation with the SWB,but the extraversion of personality has a positive correlation with it.Thirdly,there is close relationship in the personality,managerial self-efficacy and SWB of the advanced managers of State-owned enterprises.Psychotics' neuroticism, extraversion and managerial self-efficacy have a good prediction to the subject well-being.And managerial self-efficacy is an intermediate variable which personality trait has an impact on the subject well-being.
