With increasingly fierce competition of Clothing industry,the traditional operation mode of the clothing bussiness could not adjust to the manufacturing environment,with rapaid updating technical,high investment costs and globalized competition.In the environment of supply chain management,it is difficult to have all the complete functions,such as producing,designing,saling and marketing for most clothing companies.In order to adjust quickly to the changing market demand,virtual business came into being. Virtual clothing manufacturers should strengthen their positioning and core competitiveness and be partners with the upstream and downstream business.It is recommended to acquire double-win by outsourcing the non-core business,sharing the risks,information and interests. The paper summarized the related research theories and the practical operation of Supply Chain Management of successful clothing companies.Based on the related theories of supply chain and virtual management,it analyzed the operating mechanism of the supply chain of the virtual clothing manufacturers,including production outsourcing,franchising chain, network marketing,virtual enterprise resource planning.According to the theory of mechanisms mentioned above,then it built an ideal operating mode of the supply chain of virtual clothing manufacturers.And carry out the case study through analyzing the supply chain operation of Metersbonwe.The study found that the core supply chain management theories of the virtual clothing enterprises were outsourcing none-core business,the collaboration of the supply chain members and information sharing.Virtual clothing enterprises mainly regarded brand and design as core capabilities,meanwhile,outsourced the non-core aspects like production and sale.Integrating the external resources,it could be mutually beneficial.The conclusion of the study will give an axmple to lots of small and medium-sized clothing enterprises.
