Not only in the developed countries,but also in the developing countries,Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) play an important role in the development of the nation's economy.In any country or area,SMEs have absolute superiority in quantity. Therefore,promoting the development of the SMEs has become a worldwide topic.But most of the SMEs run into failure before growing up.In order to develop quickly,the entrepreneur must know what's the power mechanism of the SMEs growth,and only after that,SMEs can have a rapid development.This article has six chapters.In chapter one,the author introduces the standard of differentiating the SMEs and the basic development situation of the SMEs.In chapter two,the author discusses some theories about the growth of the SMEs:first,the author introduces some typical models of the growth stages of the SMEs,and then,according to the former studies,the author gives a four growth stages model:Carve Out Stage, Fast Growth Stage,Later Growth Stage,and Mature Stage.In chapter three,the author discusses some theories of dynamics of the car,and some theories of power mechanism of enterprises growth.The emphasis of the article is to build up the power mechanism of SMEs growth,and to do so,knowing the impacting factors to the SMEs growth is very important.Therefore,in chapter four,the author introduces the key indexes of SMEs growth.Chapter five is the emphasis of the article.Based on the four growth stage model of chapter two and key indexes of SMEs growth of chapter four,the author points out the power mechanism model of SMEs growth,and the author explains the problems in every growth stage,and gives the countermeasures to the problems.In chapter six,using the power mechanism of SMEs growth,the author analyzes an enterprise.
