China,Egypt and Iran in the Middle East had carried out a vigorous exercise on nationalization since 1950s.In the process of nationalization,there are many similarities and differences among these countries.This article compares the nationalization in China,Egypt and Iran,and sums up their similarities and differences.It analyses the experiences and lessons in the process of nationalization.In these countries,nationalization of foreign capital has become the core of the problem.At the mid of the 20th century and in 1970s,the nationalization of foreign investment involved many interrelated factors,which would make the nationalization hard and fail if not tackled properly.There still exists many arguments relating to the nationalization of the foreign capitals.And the focus of contradictions mainly concentrates on the compensation to nationalization of foreign capital,what measures should be taken -full compensation,no compensation,or appropriate compensation? Finally,the article also discusses how to protect legally the foreign investment in our country and deal with the risks of our overseas investment nationalization.
