This thesis focused on analysis and improving of Ultra clean technology's operation for its application in high-mix low volume manufacturing. It solved problems and improved performance by analyzing the process and capacity, the optimized resources utilization and how to manage the uncertain demands. It firstly analyzed operation status and provides solutions in"process and capacity"section on how to measure the process efficiency, then apply a way to find out the process capacity and bottleneck. Following the sections of"match of manufacturing resource with process capacity","Set-up and capacity analysis","set-up and volume quantity analysis"and"set-up and inventory analysis", it tells on how to optimize utilization of the resourceThen the thesis ends with sections of"Demand analysis for fixed ordering uncertain period","Demand analysis for fixed period uncertain ordering","uncertain demand"and"decision on ordering for uncertain demands"to provides improvement on management of uncertain demands and give suggestions on how to reach that target.
