Study Of Exploiting Lake-dominant Resort Tourism Area Focusing On Seasonality Problem

With the continuous developments of tourism these years, lake tour has become a focus of people. For the increasing development of holiday tours in China, to utilize lake resources and expand lake vacation will be a main approach to develop holiday tour. Among the national resort tourism areas, above l/3 of the total arnout are the lake-dominant resort tourism areas. The lake-dominant resort tourism areas are typical representative which national resort tourism areas are explioted. The lake is precious natural resource, China is one of the richest countries possessed the lake resources in the world, which have much superiority regardless of the quality and the quantity. Therefore, in order to adapt to the request of tourism market, we should make full ues of the lake tourism resources, exploit the lake-dominant resort tourism areas, which has broad peospect.However, the tourism has its own charater that represents seasonality obviously, which is due to the factors of nature, society and man-made interference. There are a large number of lake-dominant resort tourism areas in China, a minority of which has entered a virtutos cycle, while the majority is affected by seasonality. Causes for the situation have something with lack of theory instruction about the study of exploiting lake-dominant resort tourism area focusing on seasonality problem.The seasonality problem has been recognized in the tourism studies.The seasonal changes in lake-dominant resort tourism areas are remarkable. This article introduces the meaning of"seasonality", analyzes the causes of the seasonality problem in resort tourism area and the negative impact of seasonality on tourism exploitation.The article base on tourism planning's basic principle ,combine the position characteristic of the lake's natural geography, the ecological environment and the characteristic bestows on the lake-dominant resort tourism areas'characteristics, the exploiting ing situation, the limiting factors to exploit and the selected location, the function zone's demarcation and the item's designing, the exploiting principle and the process. From the perspective of tourism planning, the article probes into the strategies and methods to solve this seasonality problem. In all, the emphasis is that we should exploit lake-dominant resort tourism area on the premise of ecological conservation.Moreover, the aritical proposes the theory and the case combined to carry on analyzing and explaining. Based on the case study of"The Planning for the Recreation and Resort Holiday District of Meijia in Mulan Lake", the strategies to solve lake-dominant resort tourism areas'seasonality problem are described in order to illustrate and demonstrate the conclusion of the aritical is feasible.
