With the development of tourism industry and improvement of people’s understanding of tourism,"sustainable development" and "community development" are paid more attention. At the same time people come to realize that achievement of sustainable tourism can not be separated from community participation affected by tourism. And the residents’perceive is personalized, regional, cultural, which requires us to expand empirical studies on Residents’ Perceptions of a specific resort.The author has reviewed the domestic and international relevant research literature on residents’tourism apperception in tourist destination, influencing factors of tourism perception, tourism impact and research methods on perception and attitude. On the basis of the existing Destination Residents’perceptions Scale, this paper has made empirical research on residents’travel perception in Liuye Lake Resort after fine-tuning the resort Residents’Perceptions Scale. The study found that residents’ perceptions in Liuye Lake Resort can be divided into six dimensions:positive environmental perception, negative socio-cultural perception, negative environmental perception, negative economic perception, positive economic perception, positive social and cultural perception. The correlation ship between residents’travel perception and affection is that the affection of "please with the arrival of tourists" and positive environment perception factor, positive economic perception factor, positive socio-cultural perception factor have a significant positive correlation; the affection of "boredom of too much attention on tourists" and negative environment perception factor, negative economic perception factor, positive socio-cultural perception factor have a significant positive correlation; the affection of " expectation of more tourists" has no a significant positive correlation with travel perception factors; the affection of "satisfaction with present situation of tourism" has a significant positive correlation with positive economic perception factor. There are many differences in tourism perception among residents of different demographic characteristics in Liuye Lake Resort. Analysis of variance showed that, residents’negative environment perception is limited only by residence time; residents’positive economic perception is affected by the impact of family monthly income levels; residents’ positive environment perception is different among residents of different age or educational background or family monthly income or job; residents’negative socio-cultural perception is influenced by residents’ age or family monthly income level or living distance; age is one of influencing factors on residents’negative economic perception; age, family monthly income level, residence time, living distance have impacts on residents’positive socio-cultural perception.
