| Pioneering spirit of entrepreneur is intangible resources of economic growth, and increasingly become the important microcosmic impetus of the technology innovation and economic growth. According to the Knowledge Spillover theory and innovation theory of endogenous economic growth, this paper quantificationally studies the influence of regional pioneering spirit of entrepreneur on regional economic growth. First, establishing the index system of pioneering spirit of entrepreneur, the author employs principal component analysis to estimate the distribution of regional pioneering spirit of entrepreneur in our country, and analyzes the developing tendency of it. Second, the author employs the improved AABC model to empirically examine the relationship between the pioneering spirit of entrepreneur and economic growth all over our country with interprovincial panel data from 2000 to 2006.Some conclusions are shown that:First,the enthusiasm of pioneering spirit of entrepreneur in eastern area is more vigorous than the less developed central and western areas, and the difference between central and western areas is slight. Second,regional pioneering spirit of entrepreneur has a significant impact on regional economic growth.Third, the two patterns of Knowledge Spillover theory; new established enterprises and the cooperation between colleges and enterprises have great contribution to regional economic growth. |
