Research On Entrepreneurship And Quality Improvement Of Economic Growth

At present,China's economic growth has entered a new historical stage of development.How to cultivate new driving force of economic growth,promote high-quality development and improve the quality of economic growth in the new era,so as to solve new social contradictions,has become a new historical issue of China's economic development.Entrepreneurship is the key driving force for economic growth and social welfare.The key to promoting the high-quality development of China's economy is to cultivate and stimulate entrepreneurship.In this context,this paper takes 30 provinces as the research object,and makes a theoretical and empirical research on the relationship between economic growth quality and entrepreneurship.Firstly,this paper sorts out the theoretical basis of relevant research through literature review.Based on the existing research,this paper defines the connotation of entrepreneurship and the quality of economic growth,and divides entrepreneurship into innovative spirit and pioneering spirit.Then it discusses the mechanism of entrepreneurship in improving the quality of economic growth.This paper proves that entrepreneurship can promote the quality of economic growth through theoretical elaboration.In order to further study and test the role of entrepreneurship in improving the quality of economic growth,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system of the quality of economic growth in China based on the connotation of the quality of economic growth.Taking the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2008 to 2017 as samples,the comprehensive index of economic growth quality of each province(districts and cities)from 2008 to 2017 is calculated by the method of entropy value.The results reflect the growth trend and regional differences of regional economic growth quality in China.On this basis,this paper constructs a dynamic panel empirical model of entrepreneurship and the quality of economic growth.Taking the comprehensive index of economic growth quality calculated in this paper as the explanatory variable,taking innovative spirit and pioneering spirit as explanatory variables,and choosing a series of control variables,this paper empirically analyses the role of entrepreneurship in improving the quality of economic growth by using the method of System GMM.The empirical results show that:(1)both innovative spirit and pioneering spirit have a significant role in promoting the quality of China's economic growth;(2)on average,the quality of economic growth is improved by 0.29 percentage points for every percentage point increase in innovative spirit;and 0.15 percentage points for every percentage point increase in pioneering spirit;(3)the results passed the robustness test.Finally,based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations from the perspective of fostering entrepreneurship and promoting high-quality economic development.
