Group decision-making, as one of the forefront of theoretical research on decision-making, has been increasingly became the focus of the study. In the actual decision-making process, a decision should be made under time pressure and lack of knowledge or data, many of the attributes are intangible or non-monetary, DM has limited attention and information processing capabilities and that in group settings, all participants do not have equal expertise about problem domain and other factors. Therefore, decision-makers prefer to give information in the form of language or fuzzy numbers. Fuzzy decision-making information described by trapezoidal fuzzy numbers provides a thought to solve fuzzy multi-attribute group decision making problem.This dissertation summarizes the development and the status of Fuzzy Multiple Attributive Group Decision Making. A kind of uncertain multi-attribute group decision-making(MGDM) problems is studied,in which the information about the attribute weights is indefinite, decision makers weights and the attribute values are in the forms of trapezoidal fuzzy number. Then, a method for fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making on trapezoidal fuzzy number is established. Trapezoidal fuzzy numbers more accord with people's knowledge and more reflect complexity of people's thinking. Meanwhile, according to indefinite forms of attribute weights, it presents different solves.In term of the degree of attribute weight-known, it gives three different arithmetics. The first, With respect to fuzzy multi-attribute group decision-making problems, we propose a new method for group decision-making based on trapezoidal fuzzy number. In the method, the preference and the weights of the decision makers are expressed in the form of trapezoidal fuzzy number. The second, A kind of fuzzy multi-attribute group decision-making problems is studied,in which the information about the attribute weights is known partly, decision makers weights and the attribute values are in the forms of trapezoidal fuzzy number. The third, A kind of fuzzy multi-attribute group decision-making problems is studied,in which the information about the attribute weights is unknown , the attribute values are in the forms of trapezoidal fuzzy number. Moreover, three numerical examples are used to illustrate three proposed methods.
