A Study On The Intensive Use Of Urban Land

Our country is in the fast developing stage of urbanization and industrialization. With the fast developing of social economy and the improvement of urbanization level, the scale of the urban construction land will increase rapidly.However,most of the land occupied by urban expansion may be inevitable is high quality cultivated land surrounding city at present,this is one disaster after another undoubtedly to our country because of the tensional man-land relationship.Therefore,land shall be used sparingly for non-agricultural construction purposes,and it is significant to promote sustainable development of land use.Depending on the research of theory and method of intensive use of urban land in china and abroad,the text defined the concept and connotation of intensive use of urban land from the aspect of the macroscopic.By choosing 12 main cities in Hubei province as our research object,we made land utilization intensively evaluation adapting to 12 cities in Hubei province.At first,in the view of the influence on urban land intensively utilizing factors and the characteristics of urban land use in Hubei province,it chose three elements,eighteen factors to evaluate the intensive use of urban land.Then,I applied information entropy method for determining the weight,and computed urban land use intensity via index quantification and calculation.So I got the land intensively utilizing level of 12 cities in Hubei province.It found the difference of the intensive use of urban land between each city and analyzed its causes.At last,some suggestions were put forward to improving the intensive use of urban land.
