Land resources is one of the most important resources in human activities.The finiteness of the resources require that the way of urban development be changed from extensive extension to connotation,and take the road of urban land intensive use.The rapid development of urbanization has caused the contradiction between urban land supply and demand.The evaluation of urban land intensive use has been the focus and hot issue.This paper first introduces the research background,significance and related concepts of urban land intensive use,and summarizes the relevant research literature at home and abroad.Secondly,the evaluation index system is based on the information sensitivity screening and the literature statistics method.Thirdly,taking Guangxi as an example,taking the 14 prefecture-level city of the city area as the evaluation unit,taking the global principal component analysis method,taking 2006 to 2015 as the evaluation point,comprehensively evaluate the intensive land use level of each city in Guangxi.At the same time,the same index system and evaluation unit were used to evaluate the intensive land use status of Guangxi cities at the four time points in 2006,2009,2012 and 2015 by entropy TOPSIS method.The results of the two evaluation methods are compared and analyzed and the results of global principal component analysis are tested.Finally,the evaluation results of the global principal component analysis are analyzed from the three perspectives of temporal evolution,spatial differentiation and principal component factors,and the relevant countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the intensive use of land in Guangxi.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the information sensitivity screening and the literature statistics method,18 indexes were selected from 200 indicators,and the evaluation index system was constructed.Using the global principal component analysis to extract the six principal components,they can fully reflect the original index set of information.Based on the existing research and the results of this paper,the urban land intensive use level in Guangxi is divided into four grades:???,? and ?,which are high,medium and low intensive and extensive use.(2)Comparing the results of global principal component analysis and entropy TOPSIS from the three aspects of intensive use level difference,spatial differentiation and time variation.Analysis the reasons for the differences in the evaluation results from the four aspects of grading standards,weight determination method,raw data standardization Method and theoretical basis.It is concluded that the results obtained by the TOPSIS method do not accord with the actual situation of Guangxi,and the result of global principal component analysis is more reasonable.(3)In general,the level of urban land use in Guangxi is on the rise,from 2009,most of the urban land intensive use in Guangxi is above Grade ?.In the spatial differentiation,the level of land use is higher in the northeast and southeast regions,and relatively low in the central and western regions.This study can provide reference for the study of land intensive use in other areas,and provide theoretical reference for the relevant departments of Guangxi to formulate urban land use and protection policies.
