Today, the economy globalization is developed fast. International trade is the impetus of the economy. As the foundation industry, transportation is always the bridge of international trade and plays an important role. The whole transportation is opened up, we will face to intense competition. As the economy persistent and fast development, our foreign trade quantum is increasing and the transportation too, not only management, technology level are enhanced, but also the cognition and study of people is strengthened. Owing to the localization of classical economics didn't consider that transportation is the factor of which impacts international trade, therefore, it is reasonable under some special hypothesis, but at the same time, it is far from the real-life. We all know that there is no transportation there will not be international trade. So far as the transportation is exist, the impact on trade is occurred. The study of our country on logistics is late and the recognition of transportation's importance is started in recent years. The foundation scale is enlarged, supply ability is enhanced, but there still are many problems. Comparing with developed countries, our transportation is dropped behind, the competition is weak, the diversification of transportation is not enough majoring in ocean shipping and the competitive companies is short, small companies is too many to well-ordered. The market competition is disordered, the resource is wasted and the operation is in a low efficiency. All of these factors make the international trade cost high with the influence of market expansion. The paper introduces two methods to study the problem including theoretic and empirical methods. On theoretic aspect, I use international theories to expatiate. Through the stress, we know if there is no transportation there are not differences of price glossaries, the support to international goods trade, and no trade interest. The size of transportation radius can also impacts the market choice and market range. So the transportation can promote and assist international goods trade.Using the empirical method to quantify this impact and promote effect. The text built a"logistics"model using statistics data. Through marginal analysis and flexible analysis I work out the impact rate. We know that the increase of one unit transportation capacity can bring out how many trade gains and in which range the impact is positive, in which range is negative, under which instance the impact is largest. Through gray system theory, we know the influence of aviation and sea transportation are most important, highway, railway and pipeline are weak. In all the factors, beside GDP, resident consumer level, foreign direct investment, there is only aviation and sea transportation's integration relational degree exceed 0.6. This proves the relationship between international cargo and other transportation methods is weak, the impact is low. We should strengthen the development of these transportation methods.Though from the conclusion of last two argumentations, we know the impact of our transportation to international goods trade is enlarged, and the development of transportation is also in a rising trend, comparing with other multinational companies, our transportation is lagged behind. If the transportation market is controlled by them, our economy will be threatened. On the basis of this, I do a research on our transportation supply and conclude that the supply is poor. The final conclusion is the impact of our transportation to international goods trade is increasing year by year and becoming more and more important. But it's development is lagged behind. Under this foundation I present countermeasures and suggestions that is we should enhance the investment, think much of development, in order to making transportation industry serve international trade well. Advance the transportation efficiency and economize the trade cost.
