In recent years, trade in goods and trade in services have developed rapidly with the deepening of the degree of liberalization and transformation and grading of global industrial structure. The rapid growth of trade in goods led to the increase in transportation and other closely related services trade, coupled with the focus of FDI has continued to shift towards services which provide a strong impetus for the development of services and trade in services, the development of trade in services but also improves the efficiency of trade in goods and reduce the cost of trade in goods. Under the influence of domestic demand and the global environment, the focus of countries has shifted to improve the level and quality of service trade, and enhance the competitiveness of trade in services.China has become the biggest country of trade in goods, the total volume_of china’s trade in goods has reached$4.16trillion, import and export volume of trade in services is$539.6billion in2013, the service trade development is relatively slow, which is not matched with the international trade status of China’s. Therefore, we must treat the development of trade in services as an important means to enhance the international competitiveness of our country and to promote the change of our country from the great trade nation to the powerful trade nation. The Twelfth Five-Year Plan explicitly proposed to optimize the structure of manufacturing industry, and to promote the service industry development as a strategic focus on the optimization of the industrial structure, vigorously develop the productive service and life service industry and to promote scale, brand, network management of the services, to rely on the first, second and tertiary industries jointly promote the transformation of economic growth. Therefore, it has profound theoretical and practical significance for our country to improve our competitiveness and the status in international trade, to promote the development of China’s foreign trade changes to the comprehensive competitive advantage with in-depth study of the transport services trade and trade in goods of our country, and promoting the coordinated development of the two.In this paper, we points out that we should speed up the development of transport services and promote the trade structure optimization after analyzing the status of China’s transport services trade and trade in goods, and comparing with competitiveness level of international transportation service of Germany, the United States, Japan and other developed countries. On this basis, we treat the relationship between China’s international trade in transport services and trade in goods and its impact on the structure of trade in goods as a starting point, and study the impact of international transportation services trade on trade in industrial products and primary products respectively, and analyze the problems of coordinated development between transportation services and trade in goods. Finally, we propose appropriate policy recommendations based on the real needs of China’s international trade development and development experience of developed countries.Based on China’s transport services trade and goods trade present situation analysis and international competitiveness comparison of transportation service trade, we can draw that China’s transportation service scale is still veiy small, international competitiveness is weak, the structure of goods trade need to be upgraded. Research on the relationship between China’s international transport services trade and trade in goods and the influence on the structure of trade in goods show that there is a positive interaction between China’s international transport services trade and trade in goods, and China’s transport services trade contribution on goods structure optimization is not enough. Despite the promoting effect on manufactured goods is larger than primary products, we points out that the key to solving the problem is to improve the transportation service ability, efficiency and quality. Finally, according to the experience of developed countries and the real needs of China’s international trade development, we put forward relevant policy suggestions:(1) strengthen infrastructure construction, improve the transportation supply capacity;(2) foster a strong international competitiveness of transport service enterprises;(3) improve the technical level of transportation enterprises;(4) speed up the standardized construction on information network, focus on comprehensive information application construction.
