Analysis On Jilin Province's Regional Economic Growth

By surveying the whole history of the development of economics, we can see that in the course of economic development the influence of the various economic sectors' different combination and their proportions on economic development are entirely different. So as to it, a reasonable plan and setting of these sectors is quite important to the economic development.The main theme of the paper is to estimate and analyze the department multipliers according to the input-output table in Jilin Province 2002, then discuss the influential roles these departments play in the economic growth. As to the various departments' essential roles in the growth of Jilin, the research analyzed how can we reach the economic targets with the coordination of these departments.The paper divides into five parts: The first part briefly introduced the present situation of Jilin Province's economy and the primary progressive factors as well as the problems that appeared in the economic developing. Then we draw out the important meaning of a reasonable plan of the good arrangement on the coordination of the departments and the factors. The second part is the summary of the literatures. It introduced the similar studies on economic sectors and their meanings for the development, and then we discussed the development from two aspects as the supplies and the demands. The third part introduced the input-output table and the limitations, and then we talked about the way to use it in the research to give the multipliers. The forth part is the empirical study. We use the data of the input-output table of Jilin Province to estimate the department multipliers of Jilin Province. Then with the analysis and the research, we can find the key point of the development of Jilin. The last part gives suggestions for the policy and makes the preliminary discussions to Jilin Province's economic growth plan with the findings we have from the third part, and then proposed the important key in the Jilin Province's economic development. The paper's last part is the conclusion, as to this article's research theory and the thoughts, we make a discussion on the plans and settings about the economic development in Jilin.
