in the context of the interaction and development of urban and regional economic, our country's urban agglomeration forms a construction boom. Urban agglomeration's tourism emerges and develops rapidly. Central Henan urban agglomeration is one of the birthplaces of Chinese nation and civilization, and is an important support in the rise of the middle part of China now. With the obvious personalization and diversification trends of tourism demand, the current tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration could not bring in vaster development space for its tourism industry. It is necessary to analyze the tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration and to seek for the scientific paths of Optimization, which will be good for the improvement of the tourism image of Central Henan urban agglomeration, rational distribution of the tourism industry elements, effective integration of tourism resources, interaction and sharing of tourism market, tourism product differentiation. Overall competitive advantage once formed, Central Henan urban agglomeration's Tourism Competitiveness will be improved, with which Henan tourism industry would also be developed. Furthermore, Central Henan urban agglomeration, as well as Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metropolis and Wuhan metropolitan area, will be important support in the tourism rise of the middle part of China.Firstly, based on previous studies and related theories such as system theory, growth pole theory, etc, this article begins with seeking for the elements of tourism spatial structure, and then tries to explore the model of regional tourism spatial structure. Secondly, analyze the tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration from cultural attribute, tourism resource and product, tourist market, tourism center place, and tourism route. Based on this, blocking factors which are bad for optimization will be identified. Finally, the author thinks that, the optimization of its tourism spatial structure should be carried out from the following five aspects: the orientation and promotion of its tourism image, the cultural creation and design of its tourism product, the integration of its tourism resource, the expansion of its space in tourism industry, the construction of its government coordination mechanisms.The full text is divided into five parts together. Chapter I, introduction. This chapter introduces the research background, summarizes the relevant research at home and abroad, and gives a brief description of the research method and framework. Chapter II, the model and evolution of tourism spatial structure. This chapter describes the relevant theory, puts forward the elements and model of tourism spatial structure, and analyses the evolution of tourism spatial structure. Chapter III, analysis of tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration. In this chapter, the author sorts out the tourism development process of Central Henan urban agglomeration and studies up on the evolution of the tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration, and then focus on analysis of tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration. Chapter IV, optimization of tourism spatial structure of Central Henan urban agglomeration. Based on analysis of blocking factors, connotation and objective of optimization, paths to the tourism spatial structure optimization of Central Henan urban agglomeration are put forward. Chapter V, conclusion.
