Under the background of the developing of local and urban integration, urban agglomeration construction is very popular in China, and tourism industry in urban agglomeration starts to boom and begins to seek regional cooperation. As the south wing of Yangtze River economy zone and the leader of development of cities in Zhejiang Province, urban agglomeration in Hangzhou Bay Rim has developed a booming tourism economy. However, as required by the deep-going of regional tourism cooperation and the diversity of tourism demand, current tourism spatial structure is now insufficient for the general development of urban agglomeration of Hangzhou Bay Rim. Hence, reasonable analysis on the space structure not only offers ideas and policy basis for the optimization, but also is good to enhance the sustainable development, improve competitiveness and cooperation of regional tourism economy and for the integration of the urban agglomeration of Hangzhou Bay Rim. For this, based on general analysis on the current situation of the tourism economy of Hangzhou Bay Rim, the thesis combines researches and relevant theory basis home and abroad, while applying document analysis, systematic analysis and positive analysis to optimize its tourism spatial structure features, and in the end, offers several suggestions and concludes the main results.Firstly, the thesis states the backgrounds, meanings, research states home and abroad, research methods and relevant concepts, and briefly introduces the scope definition and development situation of the region, and integrates innovative research theories to lay theory foundation for the optimization research about the tourism spatial structure below.Secondly, on the basis of talking about the development situation of the urban agglomeration of Hangzhou Bay Rim, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on the distribution status of the amount, type and level structure of the tourism resource, and analyze the spatial structures of foreign tourist origin and domestic tourist origin markets respectively combined with the marketing status of the tourism market; Additionally, classify and analyze tourism channels from railway, highway, airway and water transportation aspects, and points out the existing problems in the space distribution of tourism destinations, offering references for the tourism spatial structure optimization of Hangzhou Bay Rim urban agglomeration. Then, on the basis of the target and principles of the optimization hereof, conduct optimization study on tourism resource, tourist origin market, tourism channel and destinations respectively. Through reorganization and optimization of the tourism resource, construct seven characteristic tourism zones featured by country tourism, industry tourism, ocean tourism, city tourism, sports and entertainment, health preservation ecotourism, build quality tourism routes combined with national fine tourism routes and local fine tourism routes, cultivate five major core tourism products with local advantages; decide reasonable market position for foreign and domestic tourist origin structure, develop the tourist origin market with levels and key points, and optimize tourism channels from aspects of internal and external links, special tourism, city tourism and tourism special lines. Meanwhile, combining with relevant spatial structure theory, form a level system for regional tourism centers under "Dual-core structure", establishing a tourism city-combination with Hang-Yong as main dual-core, Hang-Shao, Yong-Zhou and Jia-Hu as secondary dual-core, and make a four-level system for regional tourism city growth pole. Beside, optimize and upgrade the spatial structure of the tourism destinations in Hangzhou Bay Rim urban agglomeration in line with the space conception of "Dual-core, Four-circles and Seven axial bands". At last, offer relevant policy suggestions from aspects of improving tourism public service system, deepening tourism system reforming, and accelerating regional tourism cooperation.
