A Study On International Competitveness Of Zhejiang Agricultural Products

With the development of the economic globalization and internationalization, especially after the accession to the WTO, China's agricultural products are getting more close with the international market. This brings new chance and challenge to China's agricultural products. Zhejiang Province is a big agriculture province in China and plays a very important role in the agricultural products' international trade. Under the current situation, a study on the international competitiveness and the influencing factors of Zhejiang province's agricultural product is very useful for promoting the agricultural products' international trade and improving the competitiveness of the Zhejiang agricultural products.This study focuses on the Zhejiang agricultural products and analyzes the international competitiveness of Zhejiang agricultural products and its influencing factors with the method of empirical analysis. At first part, this paper describes the basic concepts and relative theories about agricultural products' competitiveness. At second part this paper analyses the status of Zhejiang agricultural development and agricultural products . Then, based on the export and import data this paper, using the evaluation indicators, and studies the international competitiveness and change trends of the Zhejiang agricultural products. After this, with the Diamond Model, the paper uses the qualitative analysis method to study the main factors that affects the international competitiveness of Zhejiang agricultural products.
