This thesis focuses on the system of Japan National Medical Care Insurance. The Japan Medical Care Insurance System was founded in the early 20th century. In 1961, the Japanese government brought the"All of the national should be included in the insurance"into effect. In the prior period of the system set up, the insurant and their family could obtain the medical service with lower cost. This system had played an invaluable role on the maintenance of good health and enhanced the national welfare. However, in recent years, because of the change of demographic structure, some great impact has been made on Japan National Medical Care Insurance System. In order to maintain the stability of society, Japanese government has been carrying out a series of reforms. There are four parts in the chapter.
